Patients that fall victim to dementia often find it difficult to have normal conversations with others. During a conversation, they sometimes forget what the other person is saying and can’t focus on the dialogue. Other times, writing sentences becomes complicated, forgetting their spelling, grammar and punctuation. Even control over writing becomes strained and their penmanship becomes very illegible.
