3. Misplacing Things

Much like the symptom of memory loss, another sign of early dementia is misplacing things. Things like car keys, money, remote controls, medication and even important documents are suddenly nowhere to be found., then one day someone opens up the microwave and there’s a wallet sitting inside of it. Unfortunately for the person suffering from dementia, they begin to feel paranoid that someone is tricking them or stealing from them. And for the people dealing with loved ones that are stricken with the disease, they live in fear that that person will suddenly walk out the house and go missing, or turn on the gas stove and forget to turn it off. There is constant fear for all parties involved, which sadly, just worsens as the disease takes a toll.
