If he used to greet you right away as soon as he comes home, but now suddenly goes to the bathroom first to shower or brush his teeth, you can be sure something is wrong. It seems your partner wants to remove any smell or evidence of being with another woman. Even if he tells you that he smells bad, you are his wife. Surely you won’t mind when he kisses you as soon as he arrives. What’s a little body odor among husband and wife, at least for a short spell? But if it’s a different kind of odor, well that’s another story. Cheating spouses are often paranoid. Maybe there really is no smell at all, but to them there probably is.
