Best: Single Mom Emily Maynard Proves Who’s Boss On Her Bachelorette Season

Much like Mesnick on his season of The Bachelor, Emily Maynard was the first Bachelorette to be a single mom starring on the show. Her story was quickly taken to heart considering she had lost her race car driver husband in a horrible car accident, leaving her to care for their young daughter Ricki all by herself. The franchise wanted her on the show so much that they even moved the entire production from the Bachelor mansion in California to her hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina, so that she could be near her daughter. When one of the men referred to Ricki as “baggage,” she told him to “get the f**k out,” leaving the rest of the guys on her show, as well as the entire fanbase of the show, applauding her reaction. She may not have married her final guy on the show, Jef Holm, but she eventually found the right man, married him and had tons of other adorable babies.
