Jen Schefft became the Bachelorette after her engagement to Andrew Firestone died a sudden death. Bachelor Nation wanted her to have another chance at finding love, which is why she became the star of season 3. But much like Brad Womack’s first season, Schefft was slowly spiraling into her own hole of self-doubt, making people wonder if the whole premise of the show was just too impossible to accomplish. Schefft even shared with the world, “I’m sorry I’m not somebody who just takes a leap of faith and goes with the moment, but I did that before and it f***ed me.” When the time came to choose between her two final men, she chose neither, leaving Bachelor and Bachelorette fans so incredibly disappointed that the show actually went off the air for 3 years afterwards.
