Desiree Hartsock came off of Sean Lowe’s season broken hearted, winning most of America over with her sweetness. So when she was asked to be the next bachelorette, fans were excited to see how her season would turn out for the brunette beauty, but were incredibly disappointed with how her season turned out. Not only did fans feel like it the most dull season of the entire Bachelorette franchise, when the excitement finally picked up towards the last few episodes, it still left fans feeling flat. Many felt that Hartsock was set on choosing Brooks Forester, crying her heart out after his unexpected departure from the show. She even said, “It breaks my heart knowing that I have two amazing, unreal guys who do love me. I just can’t love them as much … And that’s not what they deserve.” But despite her sadness, when Chris Siegfried proposed to her on the Final Rose episode, she accepted making everyone feel like she chose to settle. Despite everything, the couple got married, off-camera mind you, and now have two adorable little boys. Her season might have made for bad television, but she managed to turn it into a real-life dream.
