Worst: How Juan Pablo’s Season Ruined Foreigners As Possible Bachelors Forever

Seriously, this was one season of The Bachelor that had fans worried ABC was going to shut the whole thing down. Although Juan Pablo came off as the exceedingly cute and charming ex-football player while on Desiree Hartsock’s season, when it came to his turn to run the show, he was anything but cute. Galavis not only made women feel incredibly disrespected, but he would constantly patronize most of them, even shaming one contestant, Claire Crawley, for having sex with him on the beach. She told her “I hope nobody knows. It was a little weird for me. … I’m too fair with people.” He then added, “Maybe it wasn’t right,” making Crawley feel like she had forced the tryst rather than it being a consensual decision. Plus the fact that he would say “It’s okay” to every single thing was actually the furthest thing from being okay, ever.
