Arie Luyendyk, Jr. first caught Bachelor Nation’s attention when he came out on Emily Maynard’s season of The Bachelorette. Fans fell so in love with the foxy race car driver that they brought him back many seasons later to be the star of his own season. But Luyendyk went from fan fave to the next most hated man in America, after blindsiding his original chosen fiancée, Becca Kufrin for his second leading lady, Lauren Burnham by ‘doing a Mesnick.’ And to make matters worse, there was a camera crew there to film their entire breakup, allowing the world to watch all the “raw, unedited” footage. Although TV viewers claim that the network took things too far, letting the world watch Becca’s heart get trampled, but it doesn’t mean that they didn’t love every single minute of it. Good thing they didn’t leave her hanging either, giving Becca her very own season. And if anyone cares, Arie and Lauren are now happily married with a baby, proving that sometimes, the show actually works, no matter how twisted or messy it may be.
