After seeing this tip, It might feel like we’re living in the dark ages but unfortunately, you read this right. Never own crime comics in Canada with the intent to produce, sell, circulate or distribute, unless you want to spend up to two years in jail. The reason behind this was because back in the 1950s, there was a “Fulton Bill” put in place due to ‘the rise in consumption of crime comics,’ and many were afraid that they were going to highly influence their youth. These were seen in the same light as child pornography, sex exploitation and other such types of malicious materials. So if you don’t want to find yourself getting into trouble with the law, then do yourself a favor and just stay away from them, in Canada at least.
