Canadians say “I’m sorry” a lot. In fact, they say it for everything. Rather than say “excuse me,” “pardon” or simply “sorry,” you will hear them using this term over and over again, and it isn’t just to apologize either. And while this might be one reason why Canadians are said to be über polite, make sure that you never forget to return their “I’m sorry” with an “I’m sorry” of your own.
