But the more popular celebrity from Denver was the “Unsinkable” Molly Brown of the Titanic. A popular historical landmark is the Molly Brown House Museum in North Capitol Hill, which was actually saved from demolition in 1970. Aside from being the more famous Titanic survivor, Molly Brown was also an actress and a known civil rights activist. The museum is committed to telling her story about activism, philanthropy, and her passion. Her Victorian-style manor can be used for special events and can only be visited by a guided tour.
