Don’t Disrespect The Wildlife

Denver is home to many urban wildlife species and has entire functioning ecosystems that support all the types of animals. Surprisingly, most everyone encounters wildlife in everyday city life, be it birds, squirrels, or raccoons scavenging through trash. Tourists can enjoy the view of these creatures, but are not allowed to catch them or try to pet them. That is utter disrespect for the wildlife. Take note also that Denver is one of the only US cities with a designated City Forester. The City Forester is responsible for the care of trees and shrubs within the city. Vandalizing greenery anywhere will not be tolerated. Heavy fines will surely be imposed. So, respect the wildlife, both flora and fauna, and enjoy what Mother Nature treats you to.
