Never Assume They Won’t Understand You

When in Taiwan, never assume they won’t understand you when you speak in English, especially when you’re in the bigger cities like Taipei. Most schools teach English as another language to learn, even though they don’t speak it as often. But just because they happen to be speaking in their native tongue doesn’t mean that they can’t speak other languages, they just prefer to speak their own.
