Never Wear Your Shoes Inside The House

Like many other Asian countries, wearing your shoes inside someone else’s house is considered very impolite. And even if they say that it’s okay to wear your shoes inside, you still shouldn’t, even if they insist that it’s okay. They will most probably have an extra pair of slippers that they will offer you in exchange, so just use those even if they are too small. This custom is just considered polite and at least you know you aren’t bringing any unwanted dirt from the outside into their home.
