The Portuguese are known to go by a much slower pace than others, especially in the smaller towns in the country. Not only do they stroll rather than brisk walk, take their time to enjoy their food rather rush through their meal, they even drink for hours on end. It would seem that the only thing they do at a faster pace is drive. When in Portugal, never be in a rush. After all, you’re on vacation.
