In 2012, Berlin designers Alexandra Fischer-Rohler and Johanna Kuhl sent a model down the catwalk in a thong, while shrouded in a sheer, see-through veil that covered her entire body. If the model had been eaten by a giant amoeba, she probably wouldn’t have looked any different.
