While Vera Wang is pretty much the bar that modern brides have set in terms of wedding couture, sometimes Ms Wang aims too high for even the most extravagant of brides. This dress, which is arguably a visual masterpiece, was created with 2009 male peacock feathers, with 8 different artisans required to stitch the feathers together to produce the undulating train. It was rumored that the dress, costing upwards of $1.5 Million was going to be worn by Jennifer Lopez when she married Ben Affleck, but as that wedding hasn’t happened nor probably ever will, the dress still has yet to go down the aisle.
