The cropped hairstyle came back from obscurity recently. Before, this was primarily reserved for barbers and people who are familiar with the style. However, it has now become a mainstream haircut for both men and women. Some people might argue that a crop is the same as a pixie haircut, there is however some distinction between the two. The pixie cut has shorter layers all throughout, approximately the hair from a pixie cut should be around 1 ½ to 2 inches in length.
