Six Flags In The Wake Of Katrina

Hurricane Katrina was one of the worst disasters in America, having hit New Orleans with a force that no one could have prepared for. Although Louisiana attempted to be ready for the coming of the storm, no one knew the kind of unimaginable damage it was going to cause in its aftermath. Six Flags Amusement Park closed in preparation for the storm, never thinking that they would never open again. As seen here in this particular drone shot, the park was submerged under water after the storm, and even with 15 years that has passed in the wake of Katrina, the park remains closed.
