Hammerhead sharks are known to be aggressive hunters, which is why this fisherman didn’t mean to catch it on his line at all. This shot, taken over Panama City Beach in Florida, shows the shark way too close to shore, not a normal spot for a hammerhead to be. The fisherman even said, “We weren’t directly targeting hammerhead sharks but when your line is out there you never know what you’re going to hook on to.” Thankfully, both shark and fisherman got out unscathed, but if it wasn’t for this drone shot, aside from the bystanders on the beach, no one would probably believe him when he shared his story about the day he caught the shark.
