In case you weren’t aware, the US government has spent almost 1 trillion dollars in the past year on military equipment alone. Crazy, we know! But while they continuously produce machine after machine, plane after plane, tank after tank, and so on and so forth, thankfully, they haven’t needed to be used thus far. But at the same time, people often wonder, what happens to all of this equipment when it’s not used? This drone shot shows what is known as “The Boneyard,” an entire field filled with planes, old and new, located in Tucson, Arizona, where the planes remain to be used for spare parts. Now that’s what you call one majorly costly dumping ground.
