Christ The Redeemer

Probably one of the world’s most famous statues, Christ the Redeemer in Rio de Janeiro took almost a decade to complete. It stands 90 feet high on top of another 26 foot pedestal, and while people can see it from incredibly far away, being able to see it from above is not usually how people get to take in this awe inspiring statue.
