Gulliver The Gentle Giant

Once a convicted murderer, Jimmy Boyle pursued his interests in art and continued when he was released from jail. He ended up designing this statue while incarcerated, and eventually he built the 100-foot sculpture, which he ended up naming ‘Gulliver the Gentle Giant.’ He even created the Gateway Exchange foundation in the hopes that it would help youth struggling with drugs, crime and violence. Sadly, this aerial shot was taken to commemorate the existence of the sculpture before it was eventually destroyed by the government because it was slowly falling apart.
