In a world where a marriage that lasts for 10 years is already considered mythical, Paul Newman and wife, Joanne Woodward, managed to shake the Hollywood mold by remaining married for over 50 years. In fact, they probably would have lasted even longer if Newman hadn’t died back in 2008. Newman shared his thoughts about marriage, sharing, “People stay married because they want to – not because the doors are locked.” If you didn’t know that they were such huge actors, from this photo alone you’d probably just think that they were another happily married couple making memories.
