Banks will bill you monthly for mortgage payments, but you have the option to split the payment into every two weeks. Some companies may want to charge a fee to set up bi-weekly payments. But you can avoid this by mailing in the payment yourself and specifying how much goes toward the principal and interest. Another thing your broker will not mention. Some brokers don’t even know about bi-weekly payments. That is why it is best to get a reputable broker. They may have higher fees, but at the end, you will get more for your buck than with a mediocre one.
