The original “Aladdin” was one of the best movies that Disney ever produced, ask anyone and they’ll find it hard to disagree. And like many other movies produced by Disney, the animators would leave hidden or subliminal messages that only major fans would notice. In “Aladdin,” there’s a scene where the Genie is attempting to turn him into a prince, and when pulls out a book to look for a recipe for the best ‘princely persona’ he could find, he ends up pulling out Sebastian, the crab from “The Little Mermaid.” Some call this ingenious, others call it great advertising.
