Another well-known superstition in Brazil that locals still believe is that one should not leave through a different door from the one they used to go inside. Apparently, doing so brings about bad luck. When visiting a local’s house in Brazil, don’t forget—exit the way you entered. While you might think that this superstition is just stuff and nonsense, there’s no harm in observing local traditions and practices, out of respect for the Brazilians and their culture. Besides, you don’t want any bad luck, and I’m sure your host doesn’t want any either.
