This particular rule shouldn’t require too much explanation, but seriously, don’t drink and date. We’re not saying that it’s not okay to indulge in a glass of wine or maybe a beer or two, but the last thing that you want is to find yourself feeling loopy while trying to make a good first impression on someone. No matter how adorable your friends say you are when you’re tipsy, your date might not think the same way… yet. Considering that this is the first time you’ve ever met this person, even if you were set up by friends, you should never let your guard down or come off as someone that can’t have fun without alcohol. It’s a big turnoff for either sex.
