Just like how you’re not supposed to treat your date like a therapy session, neither should you try to psychoanalyze them either. You might think that you’re coming off as just being interested in their life, but they’ll know when you start asking totally inappropriate questions about why they’re still single and can’t seem to make a relationship work. Asking questions about them because you’re trying to get to know them vs asking them questions because you’re trying find the root cause of their “single-ness” are two completely different things, and believe us when we say, they can tell.
