Crazy as it sounds, people tend to lie or “stretch the truth” when it comes to certain things about themselves when they’re on a first date. In fact, a survey was even done with 8,000 participants that ‘revealed that over 60 percent believe that it’s perfectly acceptable to lie on a first date.’ Some shared that they lie about their age, and even their first names, and some even lie about their professions, all to sound better than they are. But if you think about it logically, if things go well, how are you going to admit that the information you gave about yourself was indeed, false? If you’re willing to lie in the beginning, what’s going to stop you from doing it later on?
