Ask Gen 2020s and most of them don’t even know the movie Fantasia. This crazy animated film by Disney that was released back in 1940 feels more like a movie that was made for music than the other way around. The movie doesn’t really have one storyline, as it ebbs and flows into a variety of scenes of Mickey Mouse and the sorcerer’s hat, hippos dancing ballet and creatures going through evolution, it’s all a psychedelic mind trip that’s actually worth a watch. If you have a copy somewhere, it could fetch you around $157 or so, but who knows, maybe give it a couple of years and maybe it’ll be more.
