Though we may all know Debbie Allen as Jackson Avery’s mother, Dr. Catherine Avery Fox, she has more under her belt than most would expect. Other than being an amazing actress, she’s also a director, producer, singer-songwriter, dancer, choreographer, and she was even once a member of the President’s Committee on the Arts and Humanities. Thanks to her amazing career back in 1982 to 1987 on the TV series Fame, she’s been nominated around 20 times for an Emmy and has even won a Golden Globe. She’s also made her mark on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1991. While her biggest career achievements were decades ago, her estimated net worth is $3 million partly in thanks to her current role in Grey’s Anatomy.
