Jerrika Hinton joined Grey’s Anatomy as Dr. Stephanie Edwards, one of the new interns introduced in Season 9. This was a big break for her after playing small roles in other TV dramas. She got noticed more in the show when she started a relationship with Dr. Jackson Avery, played by the very handsome Jesse Williams. Though she was let go from the show in 2017, she has made her mark in entertainment after 5 years on the show. Her luck did not end there, Grey’s Anatomy creator and writer Shonda Rhimes, offered her a lead role in a new series she was writing, Toast. Toast did not get the green light, but it opened doors for Hinton to be a regular in other TV dramas. Since she is quite new to Hollywood, her current estimated net worth is $1 million.
