For some, living off campus for the first couple of years of college made things more difficult. Housing tends to be more expensive, as well as other living expenses that add up. Plus the location is also further from campus than most students would like. Thankfully Heidi had a few friends that she could share a place with, but the problem was it was quite far from school. And considering it was her first time to be away from home, the transition took some getting used to.
