The regretful story of this former child star in the sitcom Different Strokes going bankrupt is, well, more of the exception than the rule here. It’s not entirely his fault. He should have been set-up quite comfortably until he reached adulthood at 18. But he found out his millions were gone, all that was left was around $200,000. His parents irresponsibly squandered his hard-earned money. The fact that he wasn’t the cute little guy anymore made it hard to get roles, even for TV commercials. He was even reported as working as a security guard, and a very hot-tempered one at that. Sadly he died in 2010, with a net worth of $ 75,000.
