John Legend and Chrissy Teigen met on the set of one of Legend’s music videos, Stereo, where they reportedly hooked up that night. The model shares how she was impressed by Legend when she found him in his dressing room, ironing his own clothes. Although they were casually enjoying each other’s company over the next few years, things didn’t get serious until eight years later, when Legend finally proposed to her in the Maldives. According to the Ohio-native, “We actually really love and respect and admire each other. I think that’s the foundation of who we are as a couple and we actually enjoy each other’s company.”
