Matthew McConaughey and his model wife, Camila Alves, have been together for 16 years, but have only been married for around 10. On the night they met, Alves didn’t even recognize her future husband because his beard was quite long and he was wearing a beanie on his head. They soon began dating and as their relationship got more serious, they had two children before they actually tied the know. According to McConaughey, his marriage advice is “Don’t make a straight line crooked. If things are going well, keep catching green lights. If they’re not, deal with them soon so they don’t bubble up and get you later.”
