Dolly Rebecca Parton was born on January 19, 1946. She is an American singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, record producer, actress, author, businesswoman, and humanitarian. She is primarily known for her work in country music. In 1999, Parton was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame. She has composed over 3,000 songs, including “I Will Always Love You”, “Jolene”, “Coat of Many Colors”, and “9 to 5”.
She isn’t shy when it comes to being honest about the cosmetic surgery she has undergone over the years. During an interview with CBS Sunday Morning, Dolly Parton even said “It is true that I look artificial, but I believe that I’m totally real.” She also said, “My look is really based on a country girl’s idea of glam. I wasn’t naturally pretty, so I make the most of anything I’ve got.” And in 2011 she told The Guardian, “if something is bagging, sagging or dragging, I’ll tuck it, suck it or pluck it.”
She is a country music legend, and very frank and witty about her cosmetic surgeries. However, her pursuit of beauty via artificial means has done quite a number on her.
