There are super romantic marriage proposals and then there is this one…
Lee Loechler recently proposed to his girlfriend, Sthuthi David, by taking her to a packed theater to see her favorite movie, Sleeping Beauty. Little did she know that Loechler had spent six months altering the animation of the film’s most iconic scene, changing the characters to look like the couple themselves and altering the story line to set up his big Question. And that was just the beginning.
As you watch the video, David’s face has a look of confusion, happiness and more confusion. The set-up is great, but the truly magical moment is when Loechler’s illustrated self tosses the engagement ring to his real-life self? At that point, we just have to coin this guy as the master of proposals and give him some sort of achievement award!
The entire proposal—all the hard work put into it, the re-illustrations, the heart jokes (David is a cardiologist), and the bride-to-be’s surprise when she finds herself surrounded by her friends and family—it’s all just perfection. Just watch:
