Bonnie was a real-life femme fatale and nobody could have played her as well as Faye Dunaway did. Some critics turned their noses up back then, thinking that no one would have appreciated the female character. Fast forward to today, the image of Bonnie sexily clutching Clyde’s gun is now considered an iconic moment in the movie’s history. The plot was way ahead of its time and it remains to be a well-loved film until this very day.
