In the original comic book story, Domino was white. However, the producers decided to play against typecasting and hired Zazie Beetz. When it came to looks, she was definitely not the Domino you’d expect, which was why the actress was hesitant to accept the role at first. Clearly, her decision paid off because moviegoers left the theater remembering who she was and thinking that she was actually perfect for the role she played.
