Jane Fonda played the titular character, Barbarella, an astronaut in the 1968 film. The movie was considered campy and over the top. The plot was silly and simply unbelievable. So, why is this movie still talked about to this very day? To start with, Fonda was able to provide Barbarella with a kind of innocence that’s as attractive as it is amusing.
