At the music festival, many people felt comfortable experimenting with different colors and textures of clothing. Aside from the flowing clothes and long necklaces, people let their hair take on any natural shape and style. Many long beards and untamed manes could be seen at the festival. Festival goers wanted to exude a sense of freedom and liberation in everything they wore. Thus, this resonated in the make-shift tableaus. Considering art was one of the main focal points of Woodstock, it only makes sense that they decorated with unique and ornate tapestries and tents.
