There was actually a time when cigarette smoking was considered totally normal and not harmful at all. In fact, no one even knew that smoking actually kills! Just look at this photo of none other than a young Robert De Niro back in the 40s being carried by his dad. Not only was he half-naked, but there was no way he wasn’t inhaling all those toxic cigarette fumes rising from daddy’s cigarette. Good thing he came out totally fine when he grew up. But if De Niro attempted to do this with his own kid, there would be no way anyone would have been so cool about it.
