Whoever believed that Germans are stiff never met these royals. Princess Yvonne and Prince Alexander knew exactly how to have a good time, never mind that they’re about eight and ten years old in this photo. While Prince Alexander enjoyed his spirits in a cup, while having a smoke at that, Princess Yvonne is just guzzling the bottle straight down without a second thought. It might have been 1955, but we’re pretty sure that even back then, serving alcohol and cigarettes to minors was never allowed, even if their parents ruled the country.
