From this photo alone, it’s obvious that parenting was totally different back then. Not only is this mom allowing her young child to jump ramps, but her son is practically naked with no helmet, using what looks like a pair of leather shoes rather than rubber ones. Plus she made herself into a human ramp just so that her son could practice his bike jumping skills. If we didn’t know any better, then we’d think that this was Evil Knievel doing practice rounds while mom happily cheered him on, and got crushed.
