Back in the day, parents used to let their kids pretty much do whatever they wanted, even if that meant allowing a 16-year old to drive around on a motorcycle sans helmet, while discovering Bali at that! This dude not only managed to travel half way across the globe without his parents, but he rented a bike, didn’t bother with protection, and basically did a whole fly by night trip despite not even being of legal age. If teenagers attempted to do the same nowadays, there’s no way they would even make it past airport security, what more onto an actual airplane.
