So much has changed in the past decade, and parenting has probably changed the most. Back in the early 80s, one Reddit user named Nankie shared that this was how she used to hand over babies to their mommies at the hospital she worked at when they were born on Christmas eve. This might have been allowed back then, but no way would any hospital ever allow their nurses to wrap up a newborn and hand them over to the parents this way. We wish they would though because it would make every mom feel like she definitely made in onto the “nice” side of Santa’s list!
