A Different Kind of Music Class

Parenting isn’t the only thing that was different back in the day. This photo is actually from a 1947 music class where the instructor is teaching kids how to play the piano. Unlike all the music classes these days that are mostly one on one, or at least with a teacher that looks at his students, one has to wonder how any of these kids even learned to play this way. Aside from having to watch a teacher from behind, their mini keyboards didn’t even have sound, which meant they couldn’t know if they were pressing the right keys or not.
