11. Eat A Spoonful Of Peanut Butter Or Honey

Much like the sugar, you can also attempt to get rid of hiccups by eating a spoonful of peanut butter or having a spoonful of honey. Once again, don’t swallow either one right away. Rather, allow it to sit there until it basically melts away on your tongue before swallowing it down. You can try the peanut butter first, and if that doesn’t work, then try the honey. At least if one works, then you can know which one to use the next time you get hiccups.
